The former prime minister, Sali Berisha, in a statement to the media, spoke about the events that took place in the north of Kosovo.

He stated that the armed uprising was organized by Belgrade.

According to him, serious acts against the sovereignty of Kosovo have been repeatedly denounced. 

Berisha says that the uprising that had as its initial goal the control of the territory of Kosovo

"The armed uprising was organized by Belgrade. The entire Serbian contingent from all the institutions of Kosovo committed a destabilizing act. They introduced Wagner's forces into Kosovo, and terrorists with whom he shares power. Introduced numerous weapons to Kosovo. Serious acts against the sovereignty of Kosovo have been repeatedly denounced. The uprising that had as its initial goal the control of the territory of Kosovo marked the order of the Kremlin. The Kosovo Police, after many hours of fierce fighting where several members of the terrorist group were killed, managed to suppress the uprising and put the terrain under control," said Berisha.
