Celibashi, party ultimatum/ "Don't waste time with group members, count the votes!"

The head of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi, has given an ultimatum to the political parties regarding the local elections in the Municipality of Kukës.

Celibashi calls on the parties to appoint the members of the Vote Counting Groups, as he points out that they are wasting time.

He declares that the counting must be carried out continuously, stressing that it is a legal obligation.

"After the completion of the delivery of all ballot boxes and their 100% regular acceptance by KZAZ Kukës, CEC Albania calls on the electoral subjects that have the right to appoint members of the Vote Counting Groups to act without wasting time and to continue with the legal obligation of counting votes continuously", the statement of the head of the CEC states./ CNA
