SPAK action/Prosecutor: 9 people in handcuffs, 8 vehicles seized

SPAK Prosecutor, Alfred Shehu, has provided details regarding SPAK's operation to crack down on criminal groups operating in the field of narcotics.

It is reported that 11 security measures of arrest and imprisonment have been issued, 9 of which have been executed, and work continues to capture two other people.

It is also reported that 8 vehicles, cell phones and documents related to the activity of the criminal group have been seized.

"The investigation was initiated based on information received from Finland. The information was evaluated and in June 2023, criminal proceedings were registered in the field of narcotics for trafficking, sale and distribution of drugs, which were found in Finland.

The cooperation was further extended in November 2023, and a joint investigative situation was created.

In reality, the investigation has been secret to date. Quantities of narcotics have been seized in 2024. The exchange of information with the Finnish authorities has been uninterrupted. At the end of the actions, the day of the action was determined where the strike would take place.

A request for security measures was sent for 11 people and the request was accepted by the Criminal Court, ordering detention in prison for 11 people.

Representatives of the Finnish police also participated in this action. As a result of the actions, it was possible to implement security measures for 9 people. Work is continuing to arrest two other people.
