Albanian politics has reacted after the accident with 38 victims in Greece.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, expressed her sadness over the tragic accident. Through a status on social networks, Xhaçka wrote that thoughts and prayers are for the victims and their families. 

" Saddened by the tragic accident that occurred in Tempe, Greece, when two trains collided.  

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families in this deadly accident.

Speedy recovery to the injured! ", writes Olta Xhaçka.

Ministri i Mbrojtjes Niko Peleshi ka reaguar gjithashtu pas aksidentit, duke ngushëlluar familjarët e viktimave dhe duke iu uruar shërim të shpejtë të plagosurve.

“Të tronditur nga aksidenti tragjik i ndodhur mbrëmë vonë në Greqi. Ngushëllime nga zemra familjeve të viktimave që fatkeqësisht humbën jetën nga përplasja e dy trenave! Urojmë rikuperim të shpejtë për të plagosurit!” shkruan Peleshi.

Kreu i Partisë së Lirisë, Ilir Meta, përmes një postimi në rrjetet sociale, ka shprehur ngushëllimet për familjarët e viktimave.

“Me hidhërim mësova për tragjedinë në Larisa të Greqisë fqinje dhe mike!

Në këto orë dhembje dhe tronditje të thellë, unë dhe Partia e Lirisë u shprehim ngushëllimet më të ndjera familjeve të viktimave dhe lutemi për shërim të shpejtë të të mbijetuarve!

From the right wing, MP Tritan Shehu reacted, who expressed full solidarity with the neighboring state.

" Deep regret for the railway accident in Greece.

Unfortunately, this serious accident near Larissa cost the lives of more than 38 passengers and injured dozens of others.

A large part are students.

Sincere condolences for the lost lives and speedy recovery for the injured.
