"Citizens' level of trust in justice bodies"/ Metani meets the

High Inspector of Justice Artur Metani received in a courtesy meeting the delegation of the Center of the State of Law of Finland, headed by the former Minister of Justice of Finland Mrs. Tuija Brax.

The High Inspector of Justice introduced the interlocutors to the role and functions of the ILD, as one of the new institutions of the Reform of Justice, which aims to increase citizens' trust in the justice system, through the encouragement of better work standards from prosecutors and judges.  

“Një magjistrat nuk duhet të jetë përgjegjës vetëm për respektimin apo jo të normave ligjore, por edhe ndaj njerëzve, shoqërisë si dhe organeve të pushtetit shtetëror, duke ndikuar kështu, në mënyrë të drejtpërdrejtë në perceptimin dhe besimin e publikut në sistemin e drejtësisë.

Niveli i besueshmërisë së qytetarëve në organet e drejtësisë është element mjaft i rëndësishëm për sistemin e drejtësisë, pasi ai është një tregues i rëndësishëm për të vlerësuar se si funksionon sistemi i drejtësisë dhe sundimi i ligjit në një vend”, u shpreh z. Metani

Znj. Brax shpjegoi se qëllimi i kësaj organizate është lidhja e ekspertizës dhe eksperiencës finlandeze mbi Shtetin e të Drejtës me institucione kombëtare dhe ndërkombëtare, që mund të përfitojnë prej saj.

Currently, the State of Law Center of Finland is a donor and co-implementer with International IDEA (International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance) in the project "Integrity and Trust in Elections in Albania: Promoting Transparency of Political Financing and Safe Use of Information Technologies and Communication". /CNA.al
