Abuse of the water supply tender/SPAK requires over 3 years in prison for the former socialist mayor

The Special Prosecutor's Office has requested 3 years and 6 months in prison for the former socialist mayor, who is accused of abuse of office, Lefter Alla.

The former mayor of Bulqiza, Alla, has been accused of violating equality in the tender for the rehabilitation of the water supply network in one of the neighborhoods of Bulqiza.

Lefter Alla was arrested by order of the Special Prosecutor's Office. The chairman of the SP in Bulqiza, Lefter Alla, and 12 other people, 7 of them officials of the Municipality, were arrested for embezzlement of the tender worth about 3 million euros.

They were put in handcuffs because they allegedly favored Alla's relative who was doing the waterworks./ CNA
