ONE TELECOMMUNICATIONS IS OFFICIALLY INTRODUCED

Telekom Albania is now ONE Telecommunications and a new era starts for the first mobile operator in the country! The significant change was announced by its shareholders and the advantages are immediately tangible.

Elvin Guri, the major shareholder of ONE Telecommunications, stated that his connection with the Albanian economy now becomes stronger than ever. ?It is an honor for me as an investor to give back to my country. ONE Telecommunications will become the company of all Albanians?.

The new brand comes with new values which are easy to understand and follow. Honesty and transparency that translates in integrity will drive every relation with the company, competence in everyday work, products and services built with deep understanding of customer needs, friendliness along the way to success are all solid foundations for ONE and its employees to become the preferred operator and the best working place in the country.

Belinda Balluku, Minister of Infrastructure and Energy was a guest at the event and she stated that: ?Each successgul step of your company, whicih has already showed itself that knows how to be succsesful, is a benefit for all the country.? Aditionally, she emphasised the importance of communication that this difficult year confirmed once more: ?This is the most struggling year for each one. This year highlighted that communication through internet was the most important thing that kept things going and Albania needs your contribution in this direction because internet is the future.?

Emil Georgakiev, CEO of ONE Telecommunications, mentioned an investment of 92 million Euro in network infrastructure and information technology that will enable the customers of the company to achieve top data speeds of up to 1 Gbps and enjoy an indoor coverage of up to 7 times better than now. He emphasized that: ?ONE will demonstrate a new approach to market and a new way of doing things. Customers satisfaction is our top priority. We are confident that making things better every day for customers will make us the number ONE operator in Albania?.

What is more important, the network is being upgraded with the newest technology from Ericsson, built to offer the safest communications possible. Its security standards have already earned ONE Telecommunications the status of a clean telco in the Clean Path initiative of the US Department of State. It is the first operator in the country and the region to achieve this milestone.

And on the day that ONE Telecommunications is offcially announced, its technical experts confirm that a downlink speed of 1.2 Gpbs has just been recorded in a real-life environment. In front of the ?Arena Kombetare? in Tirana, during the morning hours, a technician used a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for a speed test. This unprecedented result with 4G+ in Albania, comes from the aggregation of three frequency bands, simultaneous communication in four channels between the base station and the handsets, and a signal modulation of 256 QAM. Soon, the same experience will be widely available to clients all over the country.

Young people and professionals may choose among the new prepaid Unlimited plans, using the full potential of the 4G+ evolution, including unlimited airtime with some of the categories. Postpaid clients can become part of any ONE tariff plan and enjoy the biggest benefits in the market, including unlimited internet for all of them! And for the first time in the market, ONE clients can pick a handset in the shop and pay for it every month, with their tariff plan. Anyone is invited to choose from a wide range of handsets that now become more affordable.

People can visit the ONE shops, and their smiling staff will advise customers on communication solutions that can be specially tailored for them. These shops are remodelled to provide a better customer service making them a user-friendly space and a point of reference for everything related to communicatoin.
