DP is set in motion/ Revealed Rama’s opponent in Durrës, who is “the ace under the sleeve” that can make the difference

While only a few months separate us from the parliamentary elections of 2021, which are expected to be held in April, it seems that movements have begun in both major political camps in the country.

A day ago, Prime Minister Edi Rama at the meeting of the SP Assembly, announced a sensational move in one of the ?hottest? constituencies, such as Durrës. What stood out was the departure from the SP leadership in this district of one of the most talked names, the former socialist mayor Vangjush Dako.

It is learned that it will be the head of the SP, Edi Rama, who will take over the leadership of the SP for the Durrës region. Apparently Rama could not find a more reliable figure than himself for the ?hot? district of Durrës. But, on the other hand, it seems that the movements have started in the blue headquarters as well.

CNA.al has learned that the person rumored in the corridors of the Democratic Party, to lead the DP campaign in Durrës is the name of Bujar Nishani, who is a former President of the Republic, and chairman of the National Council of the DP. So, Bujar Nishani is expected to be the leader of the DP list in this region.

But, on the other hand, it seems that former Prime Minister Sali Berisha will be ?the ace under the sleeve? of the DP, and who is expected to make the difference. Sources for CNA.al inform that there are discussions in which district will run the former Prime Minister and historical leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in Tirana or Durrës.

However, there is still no confirmation for Berisha, because his candidacy or area does not depend on Lulzim Basha. But since the socialists have sent Rama to Durrës, Sali Berisha can run there together with Bujar Nishani, to unite the broken structures in Durrës, and try to maximize the vote, because with the open lists and the territorial division, the regions that will make the difference will be Tirana, Durrës, Fier and Elbasan./ CNA.al
