Silvinjo "pickets" red-black talent in Greece

The Albanian national team is going through an important phase, with two friendly matches scheduled against Israel and Luxembourg, on June 3 and 6.

Meanwhile, the situation on the coaching bench remains unresolved, as coach Silvinjo's contract is expiring and there is still no announcement about the continuation of the cooperation.

Despite this uncertainty, the Brazilian coach is focusing on identifying new profiles to strengthen the team. In this context, his attention has fallen on 23-year-old goalkeeper Klidman Lilo, who plays for OFI Crete in the Greek Super League.

Lilo has had a good season, making 14 appearances in all competitions, as well as playing 32 minutes in the Greek Cup final, which his club won. The goalkeeper has experience with Albania's youth teams, with 9 appearances for the under-21s, and a call-up to the U-20 national team.

Silvinjo is seriously considering sending him an invitation for the June training camp, which would be his first call-up to the A team. Everything is expected to be clarified in the coming weeks, when the coach's future will also be revealed.
