Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has denied speculation linking the French club with a possible move for Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah. In a statement to Sky Sports, Al-Khelaifi praised Salah's skills but stressed that the club had never made an effort to sign the Egyptian forward.

"It is not true. He's a fantastic, great player, but we've never considered him, to be honest. We know that every club would love to have him, but these rumors for us are simply not true," stated Al-Khelaifi.

The statement comes after recent reports from the French media claimed that Salah had opened talks with PSG over a possible transfer in the summer, when his Liverpool contract expires. According to these reports, Salah was open to a move to the Parc des Princes, and PSG saw him as an ideal reinforcement for the attack.

Mohamed Salah, 32, is still discussing renewing his contract with Liverpool. With his current deal expiring this summer, his future remains uncertain, and this has fueled speculation of interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs.

Meanwhile, PSG is said to be looking for an attacking winger to strengthen the offensive department and has considered names such as: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Jadon Sancho, Nico Williams.

Despite the speculation, Al-Khelaifi's statement makes it clear that Salah is not currently part of PSG's plans. However, the situation remains complicated, as Salah's future at Liverpool is still uncertain, and many clubs are closely monitoring his situation.
