The Albanian national mini-football team played today the third match in group F of the Socca World Cup 2024 against Latvia. The Reds secured the second victory in the group, after triumphing in this meeting with the result 2-1.

Giovanni Hoxha and Erald Leci scored the winning goals for the Reds and Blacks.

Coach Irtan Sejko started the match against Latvia with this starting line-up: Kejd Myrta (GK), Joanc Duqi, Endrit Kaca, Mehmet Hoxha, Erald Leci and Giovanni Hoxha.

Albania took the advantage in the 15th minute with Giovanni Hoxha. From the penalty kick, Kaca passed for Hoxha, who unlocked the result with a spectacular shot. The first half ended 1-0 for the Reds and Blacks.

The second faction did not start well for Albania. Latvia equalized in the 23rd minute. However, the red and blacks did not give up and went in search of the second goal.

Erald Leci in the 29th minute scored the winning goal for the mini-football national team. The red and black footballer received the ball well and was accurate in front of the goalkeeper. The boys managed the victory until the end and now climb to the quota of six points.

Albania will play the last match in group F on December 5 against Mexico, at 12:00.

In case Albania will be ranked in the first two places of the group, it will further qualify in the round of 16./ CNA
