Revolution at Milan, Ibrahimovic with an important role

Milan is preparing for significant changes in the management structure and at the center of the new project is expected to be Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

After a meeting in London between Gerry Cardinale and the club's leaders, it has been decided that the Swede will take on more responsibilities in the sports sector.

Until now, Ibrahimovic had the role of advisor to RedBird, but is now expected to have a direct influence on the transfer market and major sporting choices. The changes could also affect administrator Giorgio Furlani, whose position is being analyzed by the club's leaders.

The situation is also linked to the risk of Milan being left out of the Champions League next season. On the technical front, the relationship between Ibrahimovic and Massimiliano Allegri is reportedly difficult and the coach's departure at the end of the season is seen as a concrete possibility.

The management is aiming for a more competitive squad and the summer transfer window is considered crucial for the new red and black project. Ibrahimovic is expected to have a key role in selecting players and building the team for next season.
