Panic at Bayern Munich, the starter risks the challenge with Inter

Bayern Munich face a major problem ahead of their Champions League quarter-final first leg against Inter Milan. Captain Manuel Neuer has been injured again and risks not being available for the match on April 8.

Although there is still hope within the club for a speedy recovery, his situation remains uncertain and worrying for the Bavarians' technical staff.

Neuer's physical problems are nothing new this season. German media and Bayern himself have confirmed that he is suffering from a calf muscle injury, a problem that has plagued him since the Champions League round of 16. Ironically, the injury did not occur during the game, but while celebrating a goal against Bayer Leverkusen.

After weeks of treatment and individual training, Neuer returned to the pitch on Wednesday evening to train with the ball, raising optimism that a return to action is imminent. However, after just 30 minutes of training with the goalkeeper coaches, he felt discomfort and was forced to stop.
