From 3-0 to 3-3! Germany qualifies amid drama, Italy wakes up at the end

Germany secured qualification to the Nations League semi-finals, amid drama.

The "Pancerat" drew 3-3 at home against Italy, but were rewarded with a 2-1 victory in the first leg.

Germany started the match strongly, dominating the first half and scoring three times. Joshua Kimmich opened the scoring in the 30th minute with a penalty. Six minutes later, Jamal Musiala doubled the lead after a mistake by the Italian defense, capitalizing on Kimmich's assist.

In the 45th minute, Tim Kleindienst scored Germany's third goal, again after an assist from Kimmich.

In the second half, Italy showed a completely different face. Just four minutes after the restart, Moise Kean narrowed the gap to 3-1. This goal gave the Italians momentum, who continued to attack with intensity.

In the 69th minute, Kean scored his second goal, this time after an assist from Giacomo Raspadori, bringing the score to 3-2.

In the final minutes, the tension reached its peak, and in extra time, Italy won a penalty. Raspadori was accurate from the penalty spot in the 90+5' minute, leveling the scores at 3-3.

Despite the dramatic draw, Germany maintained a 5-4 aggregate advantage and secured qualification for the Nations League semi-finals.
