The President of the Albanian Federation, Armand Duka, has reacted to the passing of sports journalist, Saimir Demi.

The football head expresses condolences to the family, while saying that Demi will be missed not only by his family, but also by the community of journalists and sports fans, to which he contributed with dedication for three decades.

Among other things, the Duke emphasizes that Demi will always be remembered with respect and love.

"With deep sorrow I received the tragic news of the untimely passing of Saimir Demi, a dedicated journalist and an extraordinary man. With him we shared conversations, analyses and opinions about sports, especially football, a passion that guided his entire professional life."

A beloved man and a tireless professional, Saimir will be missed not only by his family, but also by the community of journalists and sports fans, to which he contributed with dedication for three decades.

On my own behalf and on behalf of the Albanian Football Federation, I express my most sincere condolences to his family, wife and son, as well as to all the friends who stood by him.

"Rest in peace, Saimir! We will always remember you with respect and love," writes the Duke.
