Mourinho sets two conditions for Roma to stay

Roma failed to win the second European trophy in a row, after being defeated on penalties by Sevilla in the final of the Europa Leagues, held in Budapest on the evening of May 31. Manager Jose Mourinho lashed out at referee Taylor after the game, however in the press conference he was careful to send a clear message to the club's owners as well.

He declared that he will start his vacation on Monday, without commenting on whether he will return to the yellow-red bench, however the conditions for the technician to continue working in Rome are already two and clear. The Portuguese has asked for assurances that investment will be made in the market, to create a squad capable of competing for important goals and winning titles.

Also, he has complained that he is fighting alone against everyone and asked to have a strong leader by his side, so that he can defend the team in the media. The meeting between Mourinho and Friedkin is expected to take place before Monday, with the parties to dot the 'i' for the future. It is worth noting that Mourinho has one more year of contract with Roma, but if he does not receive a guarantee, then he is expected to resign.
