The first European adventure, Gallardo next to the signature with the historic club

Marcelo Gallardo is ready for his first experience as a coach in Europe. The Argentine has been doing well for years in Latin football, where he has won the Copa Libertadores twice as River Plate's coach. But not only.

The 47-year-old ended his 8-year adventure on the Millonarios bench in December and is now ready to land in European football. Where as a footballer he played with Monaco and PSG.

Gallardo is the favorite name of Marseille management , who see the former attacking midfielder as the perfect replacement for Igor Tudor. The Croat finished with Marseille, a team he managed to qualify for the Champions League.

Footmercato writes that the leaders of the Ligue 1 club have started talks with Gallardo's agent. The coach with a great reputation in Argentina is interested in taking charge of Marseille. He knows the French championship very well, having played four seasons as a footballer between Monaco and PSG.
