Only 24 years old and he can be called the "diamond" of Inter's backline. With his performances, security and critical interventions, the Italian central defender, Alessandro Bastoni, is considered one of the pillars of the "black" team.

For this reason, the board of Inter has started negotiations with the player and his representatives, for the renewal of the 24-year-old's contract, with the "blacks" seeking to "armor" the defensive talent for a long time.

Inter has decided to "reward" Bastoni's performances, with a contract valid until 2028, from which he will benefit 5 million euros per season, not counting the bonuses in case of triumphs.

The defender's agent, Tullio Tinti, also made a brief comment on the renewal of the player, as he said that everything is in the final stage and in the coming days everything is expected to be finalized for the new contract.

"Renovation of Bastoni? We are in the final stages, in the coming days we will find a way to make things right. We are on the right path", said the defender's agent, as he left the offices of the "Zicaltars".
