After many years in Bergamo and the experience in Florence I think I have the right maturity. I have played in several categories and I think I am in the final step.

How happy are you?
I am satisfied from a professional point of view, but also as a fan, because I am a Milanese since birth and I grew up in a red and black family. For me it is a dream that is coming true and I am proud. I want to reward the club for trusting me.

Who was your childhood idol?
When I was little, Milan's goalkeeper was Sebastiano Rossi, so he was my role model. I liked his way of staying at the gate. There was nothing special that made me choose the role of goalkeeper. My physique helped me, I was already quite tall as a child and that's why they directed me towards this role.

What do you think of Mike Menjana?
I don't need to say it. We are talking about a very strong goalkeeper, one of the best in the world. I can learn a lot from him, even though I am 31 years old. I am happy to work with him and the other goalkeepers.

Have you talked to Pioli?
I spent a year with him in Florence. I had a great time, it was a good season. I have always felt good with him, there is a great appreciation between us. Pioli has given me a lot, even though we only worked together for a year. I am happy to work with him again.

Why did you choose the number 57?
July 5 is the birth date of my daughter and my wife, so I made one of them my number.

How do you think the experience of a match at "San Siro" will be?
On the penultimate day of the championship, I played against Inter at "San Siro". And I thought for a while that this will be my stadium next year. "San Siro" is extraordinary, it will be exciting to play in this stadium.
