Albanian footballer gives approval, Milan plans sensational exchange

Milan are looking for reinforcements with experience and personality in midfield, and the main name on the list is that of Granit Xhaka.

The Albanian footballer has given his approval for the move to the Rossoneri and sporting director Igli Tare is expected to initiate contacts with Bayer Leverkusen. Milan hopes to complete the transfer for a cost not exceeding 12 million euros, although Leverkusen is in no hurry to sell, as Xhaka has a contract until 2028.

 One possibility being considered is the inclusion of Malick Thiaw in the swap deal. On the other hand, Luka Modric is also close to a move to Milan.

Although the medicals have been postponed after the Club World Cup in the USA, the deal remains secure. The Croatian and Milan have reached a verbal agreement and it is only expected to be made official once the commitments with Real Madrid are completed.
