Electoral Assembly/ Duka is proposed as candidate for president of the AFHF,

The Tirana Regional Football Association held today the proceedings of the General Electoral Assembly, attended by 45 members of the association, represented by 77 delegates.

At the Assembly held at the "House of Football" in Tirana, not only was the activity report for 2025 reviewed, but the delegates approved the financial statements and budget for 2026, as they were introduced to the achievements and problems of this association during 2025.

One of the most important items on the agenda was the election of the president of the Tirana SHRF for the next four-year term.

The Verification Commission, which is the body responsible for organizing the election process, stated that only one candidacy for Chairman was submitted to the commission, specifically the request for re-nomination by Mr. Krenar Alimehmeti, proposed by 11 members of the association.

The General Electoral Assembly of the Tirana Regional Football Association, with complete unanimity, decided to elect Mr. Krenar Alimehmeti as Chairman of the Tirana Regional Football Association with a 4 (four) year mandate.

After being re-elected as head of the Tirana SHRF, Krenar Alimehmeti thanked the members for the trust they placed in him, emphasizing that the SHRFT will always support the development of amateur football in the Tirana area.

"I thank you very much for the support and trust you gave me. I think this shows that we have done a good job all together, you and us. By thanking you, I also take the opportunity to thank the staff, who have been very dedicated during these years. I hope that some formulas, new methods will be found to increase quality, in addition to massification, so we should not stay at these levels, as there are opportunities for more. We will always be in your support and the cooperation with you has been and will be strengthened more. I thank you very much and I hope that the best will happen", - said Krenar Alimehmeti.

Also on the agenda were the proposals for candidates for President of the Albanian Football Federation and for members of the Executive Committee. The members of the association have proposed as a candidate Mr. Armand Duka for the position of President of the Albanian Football Federation, who was voted by all members of the association during the assembly proceedings. Meanwhile, as a candidate for member of the Executive Committee of the Albanian Football Federation, the members of the Tirana SHRF voted for Mr. Lutfi Nuriu.

The delegates who will represent SHRFT at the General Assembly of the Albanian Football Association were also elected, who are the president of SHRFT, Krenar Alimehmeti, Artan Vangjeli, Gelda Lilo, Arjan Pisha, Oltion Sula and Sonila Çekrezi.

The Tirana Regional Football Association was joined by ten new members with full rights, which are: SG Tirana Football Academy, Holle, Peza Sport Football Academy, Pro Talents Tirana, FC Autokton, TR 19 Football Academy, AF Kampionët, Kamza Sport, Dinamo 14 and Kamza Juniors.
