OFFICIAL/ Chelsea chooses new coach

Chelsea have officially appointed Liam Rosenior as their new first-team coach. The Englishman succeeds Enzo Maresca and has signed a long-term contract that will keep him at the club until 2032.

Rosenior comes to the Premier League after a very positive season with Strasbourg in France. In his debut in Ligue 1, he led the team to a historic qualification for Europe after a 19-year absence. Rosenior has also previously managed Hull City and Derby County.

In his first statements, he emphasized the objective of maintaining the club's winning identity and aiming for trophies.

His debut on the Chelsea bench will come in the away game against Fulham. Chelsea are currently ranked fifth in the Premier League with 21 points after 20 matches.
