OFFICIAL/ Teuta announces the sale of the defender to Japan

Teuta has announced the sale of Gabriel Gomes, who was one of the innovations of the Superiore in the first half of the championship.

With his performances on the pitch, the Brazilian attracted the attention of the sports public and not only by becoming a point of reference for the defensive unit of the Durrës team.

However, an offer received in the January transfer window from Japan changed the course of his adventure in Albania, convincing the club's leaders to give up the defender's services.

FC Imabari has officially knocked on Teuta's doors with a significant offer, which has been accepted by the club for the signing of Gabriel Gomes, who will sign for 2 years with the new team.

The 26-year-old fulfilled Teuta's expectations, forming a defensive wall with Zogos, while also being a threat on the offensive, scoring in the 3-2 victory over Flamurtari.

After about 6 months in the Superiore, Gomes will move to Asia to wear the jersey of FC Imabari, which plays in the J2 League in Japan.
