Inter returns to the top, "revenge" against Bologna

Inter returned to the top of Serie A after a 3-1 victory over Bologna at San Siro.

The Blues dominated most of the match and created chances in the opening minutes with Lautaro Martínez and Marcus Thuram.

Bologna's resistance was broken in the 39th minute when Zielinski scored from distance. At the start of the second half, Lautaro doubled the advantage from a corner kick.

Inter had other chances to extend the lead, but without immediate success. The third goal came in the 74th minute, with Thuram following another corner.

Bologna scored the consolation goal at the end with Castro, but without affecting the final result.

A "revenge" from Inter, for the elimination a few days ago by Bologna in the Super Cup semi-finals.
