Arsenal wins derby against Chelsea and goes top

Arsenal took an important step towards the Premier League title, defeating Chelsea 2-1 in the derby.

Mikel Arteta's team showed maturity and strength, relying on the defense to find the way to the net.

William Saliba opened the scoring in the 21st minute, but an unfortunate own goal by Hincapie at the end of the first half restored parity for the London Blues.

In the second half, the "Gunners" increased the pressure and in the 66th minute it was Jurrien Timber who restored the advantage, which was successfully defended until the final whistle.

With this victory, Arsenal secures the top of the standings with 64 points, maintaining a safety distance of 5 points from Manchester City.

Chelsea, on the other hand, remains in sixth place with 45 points, making the race for a place in the top four more difficult.
