Bayern's approach strikes again, Morocco touches qualification

The Moroccan national team secured an important 1-0 victory over Scotland in the Group C match of the World Cup, held in Boston.

The "Lions of Atlas", who came into this challenge with an impressive 30-match unbeaten run, found the lead in the opening minutes thanks to a brilliant shot from a difficult angle by Ismael Saibari, after an assist from Brahim Díaz. This was the second goal in a row for the striker, newly acquired from Bayern Munich.

The Moroccans dominated most of the game, creating other clear-cut chances through Azzedine Ounahi and Bilal El Khannouss, but Scottish goalkeeper Angus Gunn saved his team from a deeper defeat.

In the second half, Scotland tried to react and claimed a penalty after a John McGinn foul in the area, but were unable to seriously threaten goalkeeper Bono.

With this triumph, Markou holds second place with 4 points, the same as leading Brazil.
