70 million euros for the midfielder, Milan could lose their starter

Manchester City have shown concrete interest in Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders.

The English club is considering the possibility of making a significant offer for the Dutch player, whom coach Guardiola sees as a suitable profile for the role of advanced midfielder in his tactical scheme.

Manchester City are said to be ready to offer more than €50m for Reijnders, with the possibility of a €70m bid not being ruled out. Such an operation could materialise in June, during the first phase of the summer transfer window, before the start of the Club World Cup, a competition in which City will take part.

If the offer is to be formalised, the final decision will lie with Milan and the player himself. Reijnders has renewed his contract with the Italian club until 2030, which gives Milan some leverage in the negotiations.
