Vinicius overdoes it with demands, renewal with Real "stuck"

Real Madrid's renewal with striker Vinicius Junior has stalled. According to reports from Spain, talks between the parties have not progressed in recent weeks, despite initial optimism about a new deal.

The Brazilian footballer's current contract is valid until 2027, but Real Madrid intends to change its economic terms to reflect the player's contribution and status in the squad.

However, the financial demands of his representatives have proven to be higher than the Madrid club's expectations.

The player's agent's first offer was rejected by Real Madrid's management. Later, the demands were increased to around 30 million euros net per year, including bonuses, a sum that significantly exceeds Real's current offer of around 20 million euros per year.

Currently, Vinicius earns 17 million euros per season, a figure that puts him on a similar level to players like Mbappe and Bellingham, who also recently renewed his contract.
