Jonathan Tah's future seems to be in the Bundesliga and more specifically with Bayern Munich.

Tah's contract with Bayer Leverkusen expires on June 30, 2025, making him one of the most sought-after names on the free transfer market this summer. Bayern have taken concrete steps in recent hours, taking an advantage over other clubs that have shown interest in the 29-year-old's services.

Barcelona had reached a preliminary agreement with the player for several weeks. However, financial difficulties and uncertainties regarding the room for maneuver within the rules of "financial fair play" have meant that the Catalan club has not been able to officially conclude the transfer.

Despite coach Hansi Flick and Barcelona's management considering Tah as a potential reinforcement for the defense, the financial crisis has left room for other clubs to advance in negotiations.

According to what is reported by the prestigious "Bild", Bayern Munich have already presented a concrete offer for Tah. The club currently managed by Vincent Kompany is in the final stages of negotiations, with the aim of closing the deal before the official opening of the summer transfer window.
