Water from intense rainfall has flooded the market in the city of Pogradec this Tuesday.
Dozens of merchants have appealed to the Municipality of Pogradec to take action, as their goods are spoiling, while they themselves are spending hours during the day in a humid environment.

Merchants are demanding that a new market be built in the city, as promised.
"What falls outside, falls inside. Our feet are wet and our clothes are too. No one will know what is happening. We have been in the damp for so many years. Let the municipality build a market for us. We will have a market today, we will have a market tomorrow! We stayed here, we rotted. All the goods are wet. No one came to the market today. We want a new market to be built for us. No one will know that my goods have spoiled," says a trader.

Rainfall has covered most of the country, while in some regions the situation created by the weather appears more worrying. /CNA
