According to INSTAT data, births in the third quarter of 2022 were 6,172, marking a decrease of 19.6%, compared to the third quarter of 2021.

In the third quarter of 2022, the county with the highest natural increase is Tirana, with 928 more births than deaths, while the county with the lowest natural increase is Korça, with 139 more deaths than births.
