The Swedish scientist, Svante Paabo, has won the "Nobel" Prize for Medicine, due to discoveries related to human evolution.

This award, among the most prestigious in the scientific world, has been awarded by the "Nobel" Assembly of the Karolinska Institute in Sweden and has a value of 900,357 US dollars. With the Nobel Prize in Medicine, the season for awarding Nobel prizes in various fields, including peace, literature, physics, chemistry and economics, begins.
