Blueberries, the powerful fruit that improves mental and physical health

Blueberries, a small but powerful fruit, are increasingly at the center of research because their health benefits are truly immense.

Recent research from the University of East Anglia reveals that daily consumption of cranberries can offer significant benefits for memory and cognitive health.

The results show that blueberries may play an important role in preventing dementia and lowering "bad" cholesterol levels.

During the research, scientists followed a group of 60 healthy participants for a period of 12 weeks.

Half of the subjects ingested cranberry powder, while the other half took a placebo. At the end of the study, those who consumed blueberries daily showed significant improvements in memory for daily events, better circulation in the brain, and lower levels of LDL cholesterol, known as the “bad” cholesterol.

Researcher Dr. David Vauzour, who led this project, emphasized that the results are very promising and open the door to further research into how blueberries and other berries may contribute to the preservation of cognitive functions.
