Do you think you have enough oxygen?

Below you will find 8 symptoms of lack of oxygen in the body.

Having normal levels of oxygen in the body is a basic need to live.

When you breathe, through the lungs, oxygen binds to the hemoglobin found in the red blood cells and goes to every cell in the body.

Oxygen is the crucial element for organs, muscles, tissues and cells that produce energy.

Unfortunately, many individuals experience oxygen supply deficiencies, deficiencies which gradually damage the brain, heart, liver, etc.

Asthma, emphysema, bronchiectasis, COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, anemia, etc., are some of the diseases that contribute to the reduction of body oxygenation.

Smokers always have compromised blood oxygen levels due to the reduced capacity of hemoglobin to bind oxygen.

High levels of stress, anxiety, panic attacks, increase cortisone levels, ventilation and destroy the balance of oxygen and CO2.

Snoring and sleep apnea also decrease blood oxygen levels.

People who regularly consume sweets have a lower blood pH, therefore lower oxygen levels.

In general, nutritional deficiencies can cause anemia, resulting in low levels of tissue oxygenation.

If low oxygen levels in the body are not corrected, over time they cause irreversible damage to your organs.

In this article, I want to guide you to some symptoms that indicate that you may have low blood oxygen levels:

- Thirst for air. Patients complain that they cannot get enough of air and occasionally of chest congestion.

- Loss of consciousness, dizziness and fatigue, especially during movement, ups and downs, etc. There are cases where they complain of blurred vision, which returns after rest.

- Another sign of lack of oxygen in the blood are arrhythmias, which are often manifested by tachycardia.

- Muscle cramps, numbness of the shoulder, left arm, chest pain. These signs indicate that your heart muscle (myocardium) is suffering for oxygen. Urgent medical visit is needed!

- Heaviness of the legs. Difficulty climbing stairs or walking uphill. This is a sign of inadequate oxygenation of the leg muscles.

- Your fingernails. If your nails are pale and present discoloration, cracks, these may be signs of anemia. Anemia limits hemoglobin, which is essential for oxygen transport.

- The appearance of blue shades, similar to hemorrhagic spots on the skin of your body is a clear sign that you may be suffering from a lack of oxygen supply.

- Confusion, lethargy, chronic fatigue, rapid nervous irritation are symptoms that should orient you that your body is not being properly oxygenated.

If you experience any of these symptoms, do not hesitate to see a doctor.
