Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi commented today regarding the fire that engulfed a residential complex in the capital on Tuesday.

Invited to the show "Opinion", Këlliçi described the reaction of Prime Minister Edi Rama to the case as scandalous, which, according to him, also gives a verdict on private construction companies.

 "The fire at the building at Pharmacy number 10, a reason for the residents of the building to come out and raise their voices. The prime minister's reaction is scandalous. Before the owner of the construction company reacted, before the institutions reacted about the reasons why that fire happened, who are the culprits, the prime minister comes out and says, he is putting the financial burden on the builder and the owner of the company and says he will compensate them 100%. The question is simple, where does the prime minister find the authority and power to dictate what a private company should do for its construction, without any authority coming out yet and without giving the verdict: who is to blame, who is responsible?", said Këlliçi ./CNA
