"Harsh politics are becoming"/ The Deputy Speaker of the Parliament

The Deputy Speaker of the Albanian Parliament, Klodiana Spahiu, said today that the politics being debated in the institution is harsh, but according to her, it should not be a reason not to serve the citizen.

Invited to A2 CNN, Spahiu also shared what could be considered a new approach, where she highlighted the monitoring of time and not electronic time measurement.

According to Spahiu, the opposition should be more active and share its critical voice.

"I think that at this moment, before those elements that can make the MP famous before the electorate, we have another objective. Of course, we must listen to the critical voice of the opposition and in the meantime cooperate on this other path of integration. Even the interpellations, even the opposition's minutes, are now monitored and we are no longer in the phase when time was not measured electronically. Without a doubt, the opposition should speak more. I also agree with this, that there should be freedom of speech. So far, 18 interpellations have been made, and there will continue to be, but I am concerned about the fact that for the sake of harsh politics, we are stopping a process that has started, has no return and that serves the citizen. One thing that should unite us is service to the citizen", - said Spahiu. /CNA
