Prime Minister Edi Rama has responded to comments and criticism on social media while also speaking about the development of the Giro d'Italia in Albania. The Prime Minister once again emphasized the importance of the Giro d'Italia in Albania, while adding that years ago such an initiative was not even thought of.

"You say that Albania has no roads for the Giro d'Italia because we only see Balluk's 'tears'. Meanwhile, the business owners who organize the tour do not listen to Balluk at all, I even have the impression that they do not know who he is.

But, when they came to Albania, they saw the roads and made a positive assessment of all the conditions, infrastructure, hospitality, security and professionalism in every municipality. I have nothing to say, until yesterday we were up to our necks and today the changes are more than visible.

And tourists come here even though there are no 'lights', 'water' and where people are 'killed' on the roads. I do not know what to say about the roads that you hear about, but do not see. There is no greater blind person than the one who will not see.
