After the meeting, it seems that Enkelejd Alibeaj's divisive group has made the decision to cooperate with Sali Berisha's PD in the local elections.

Alibeaj has mandated Gazment Bardhi to contact and investigate any possibility of cooperation and participation in local elections with a single candidate of DP and the opposition.

"After the discussions in the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party, the deputies unanimously expressed their full and sincere will to find the right forms of cooperation for the local elections, starting with the entire Democratic Party and with every opposition factor.

In the assessment of the DP Parliamentary Group, the only solution to face the regime of Edi Rama in the local elections is to unite every opposition voice and face a single candidate of the DP and the opposition in the elections.

In order to discuss any sincere possibility for cooperation, the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party has mandated Mr. Gazment Bardhi to contact and research any possibility of cooperation and participation in local elections with a single candidate of the PD and the opposition.

The DP Parliamentary Group expresses its readiness to start working today to find the modalities of cooperation between the democrats in the local elections" , the statement says.
