Partial elections in 5 municipalities/ Who are the 13 candidates facing off on

On Sunday, November 9, mayoral by-elections will be held in 5 municipalities across the country.

The elections will be held in the municipalities of: Vlorë, Berat, Cërrik, Mat and Tepelena.

13 candidates are running in the November 9 elections, including names associated with political entities, but also independent candidates. 

Ranking of candidates by municipality:

For the Municipality of Vlora:

Brunilda Mersini (SP)

Dionis Sota (independent)

Gjergji Nika (independent)

For the Municipality of Berat:

Ervin Ceca (SP)

Pavlo Shkarpa (independent)

For the Municipality of Cërrik:

Eligert Hima (Albania Becomes Movement)

Amarildo Hoxha (independent)

Florenc Doka (PS)

For the Municipality of Mat:

Altin Bojni (PS)

Eduart Brahilika (independent)

Suzana Pasha (independent)

For the Municipality of Tepelena:

Gabriel Guma (independent)

Gramos Sako (PS)

A few days ago, the Central Election Commission reviewed the names for the by-election race and registered the above candidates./CNA
