May 14 elections/Mediu: Only with a common candidate can Rama win

The chairman of the Republican Party, Fatmir Mediu, has held a meeting for the local elections with the structures of the PR in Fier. 

The emphasis is on the May 14 elections and how it will go in terms of candidates.

According to Mediu, Rama can win by uniting the opposition and emerging with only one common candidate.

"We are before the local elections. What should we do? There is only one way to face Edi Rama. A single candidate of the Albanian opposition. Our task is to unite Albanians to overthrow the power of Edi Rama. And the second task is to open opportunities for young men and women to govern the country. We have proven ourselves. The time has come to give chances and opportunities to Albanians", he declared. /CNA.al
