Diaspora Vote/Frankfurt Balla: SP will conclude Albania's EU membership

The Political Leader of the Socialist Party for the Diaspora, Taulant Balla, held a meeting with immigrants in Frankfurt and stated that voting for the Socialist Party will make them feel equal to German citizens, that is, EU citizens.

According to Balla, it was this party that has always prioritized the diaspora vote, making electoral reform conditional on this goal.

"The Assembly resolved a debt we owed to our compatriots. The Socialist Party had one condition for the reform, only the vote of the diaspora, because the diaspora has an impartial judgment."

Balla thanked Germany for the support it has always given to Albania on its path towards the EU.

"And one thing we must say, we are very grateful to Germany for the unconditional support it has given Albania over the years regarding EU membership and integration. If there is a political party that can and will conclude the process of Albania's EU membership, it is the Socialist Party. I want that in the next four years, each of you here in Frankfurt sees yourself as equal to a German citizen, that is, to see yourself as an EU citizen."
