The Secretary General of the Democratic Party of Albania, Flamur Noka, has expressed confidence in the opposition's victory in the May 11 parliamentary elections.

Noka said that with the diaspora's vote, the opposition will overthrow the government in the elections.

He demanded that immigrants register and participate in the elections to remove Edi Rama's government.

Excerpt from the speech:

Many of you came here young, today you are grandparents, you have grandchildren, so all of us here and everywhere in the diaspora, we must all do everything we can to prevent Edi Rama from turning Albania into a scorched earth and the country from remaining foreign to us.

We must lead to that long-awaited change that every Albanian awaits, and the change will come from the vote of the diaspora.

For this change to come to Albania on May 11, the Albanian diaspora must register and vote en masse in these elections. It is your vote, the vote of the diaspora, that is expected as a ray of hope by all Albanians.

This is a vital, unrepeatable moment for our country, it is an opportunity that the DP made a reality for you to vote in Albania.

With your vote we will defeat the regime, we will replace the regime with a European democracy. Your vote will stop the expulsion of Albanians from Albania, it will stop the expulsion of young people.

With your vote, we will defeat the narco-state on May 11th, so just one call to each and every one of you, register, it is the only way to give back to the regime that expelled you from Albania.

Together we will free Albania from the political scum that erodes into luxury. We will free Albania from a drug-addicted regime that feeds on the poorest people in Europe./ CNA
