Veliaj: The protesters are the monkeys of the Zoo

The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj

The mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, from the media paid by the incinerators, insulted the protesters who demanded his resignation after the arrests of his thieving directors.

Veliaj said that the protesters are crazy people who have released the pigeons.

Also, the mayor described the protesters as the monkeys of the Zoo

"It's a free place to go crazy like some people go crazy, it's a free place to release pigeons, but also to collect pigeons", he said among other things.

Veliaj did not stop the insults, but emphasized that the protesters are a pack of rabbits.

"They are rabbits, they don't scare us, they make noise for nothing.

As I said, it is a stall with rabbits and despite my insistence to take them to the zoo, they bring the Zoo here", he emphasized./ CNA
