Kreu i Partisë së Lirisë, Ilir Meta përshëndeti delegatët e Konventës në nisje të punimeve në Pallatin e Kongereseve. Por ai nuk harroi të tallej apo të ironizonte Lulzim Bashën.

Duke marrë si shembull fitoren e "Bashkë Fitojmë" në bashkitë e Fushë-Arrëzit dhe Pukës, Meta tha se nuk fitohet duke fjetur gjumë dhe duke shumëzuar 7 herë 7.
