Survey/ How interested are Albanians in politics

"Barometer" in Euronews Albania asked the citizens in Friday's poll about how they see politics in the country in several directions.

One of the Barometer's questions asked the 1,000 respondents how interested they are in politics in the country.

From the responses of the citizens, it appears that most of them are little interested in politics.

There are 71% of the respondents who answered that they have little interest in politics, where 29% of them chose the option of little interest and 42.4% not at all interested.

What is striking in the analysis of the data by age groups is the fact that the youngest are the least interested in politics compared to the older age groups.

In the 18-34 age group, the percentage of those interested in politics is lower than that of the 35-75 age group.

Only 21% of 18-24-year-olds are interested in politics, while this interest in politics in the 25-34-year-old age group is at the level of 18.6%.

While from the 35-44 age group, 31% of them are interested in politics. The highest level of interest in politics is shown by the 55-64 age group, where this interest is at the level of 36.2 percent of them./ Euronews Albania
