Journalist Klodiana Lala, invited to MCN TV, revealed that Mayor Erion Veliaj requested a consultation with a psychologist in his cell.

The journalist stated that Velaij had taken medication for his blood pressure and was asked by the Prisons Directorate to go to the hospital, but he refused.

" There are orders administered that show that Veliaj requested a consultation with a psychiatrist because he stated that he could not express himself in that way. Before contacting Veliaj, Drita Jakaj took an inventory of all the drugs that entered the prison and were given to prisoners.

It turns out that Veliaj only took medication for his blood pressure, but was asked by the Prison Directorate to go to the hospital, but he did not go. The report is in three copies and has also been submitted to the lawyers.

"I am for the most humane treatment. Senior officials have not been in prison because they had heart problems or claustrophobia. Durrës prison was like being in a 5-star hotel, once they even introduced drugs, there was a gym ," said Lala./ CNA
