The political leader of the Democratic Party for Tirana, Belind Këlliçi, has spoken about Erion Veliaj's threatening language towards the prosecutor and judge of his case and his wife Ajola Xoxa.

Invited to "Kafe Shqeto", Këlliçi said that he has nothing to do with prosecutors and judges, but according to Këlliçi, the message is to intimidate witnesses of 5D and the Tirana incinerator.

"There's nothing he can do. It's not a political war. The message is for the witnesses. Other witnesses are being prepared to speak about the Tirana incinerator and witnesses are being prepared to speak about 5D. That message is not for the prosecutor and the judge but to intimidate the witnesses. The attempt is mafia-like. It doesn't impress him that charges could be added to him due to threats against the prosecutors. Veliaj is there for the long haul. The message is for those who can testify about the affair," said Këlliçi./ CNA
