Today's hearing on Balluk's immunity/ Socialists gather group

On the third day, in the plenary session that starts at 10:00, the Special Prosecution's request for Belinda Balluku's immunity will be voted on.

The majority and the opposition have presented two separate reports on the case.

The opposition has also announced a protest today.

Meanwhile, the Socialists will hold a parliamentary group meeting at 09:00 before the start of the plenary session.

 

Agenda

 

I. Meeting of the Assembly in plenary session on 12.3.2026, 10:00.

II. The agenda of the plenary session is as follows:

1. Approval of the minutes of the plenary session of 5.3.2026.

2. Notifications.

3. Draft decision "On granting authorization by the Assembly for the arrest/deprivation of liberty of MP Belinda Balluku, through the replacement of the security measure".

4. Draft law "On the accession of the Republic of Albania to the Metre Convention, signed in Paris, on May 20, 1875, as amended by the convention signed in Sèvres, on October 6, 1921, and the relevant regulation"

5. Draft law "On the ratification of the loan agreement, between the Republic of Albania (the borrower), represented by the Ministry of Finance, and the Albanian Electric Power Corporation (KESH) (the project implementation agency) and KfW, Frankfurt am Main (KfW), for the rehabilitation of the Fierza hydropower plant".

6. Draft decision "On some additions to decision no. 64/2025, "On the appointment of the membership of the permanent committees of the Assembly", as amended".

7. Draft decision "On an addition to decision no. 65/2025, "On the appointment of substitute members in the composition of the permanent committees of the Assembly", as amended".

8. Discussions on issues outside the agenda.

III. The services of the Assembly are charged with publishing the agenda of the plenary session, notifying the members of the Assembly through electronic means of communication, and preparing the parliamentary documentation to be reviewed.

IV. This order shall enter into force immediately.
