Prime Minister Edi Rama, three days ago held a meeting with the mayors in Pogradec, where the focus was on the upcoming local elections.

CNA.al has learned that yesterday Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting of the Government, where he gave a long speech.

Today he published the decision for the dismissal of Ahmetaj, from the number two position of the Government and from the position of the Minister for Reconstruction.

The decision to dismiss him is dated yesterday, July 24, 2022, the day when the meeting was held.

Rama thanked Ahmetaj for the work done so far, but beyond the rumors of the political corridors, it is known that Ahmetaj left due to some internal conflicts in the Socialist Party.
