"It has been usurped by a gang"/ Meta "cries about the

Former president Ilir Meta today in a statement to the media, among other things, was asked by journalists if his party, which he now calls the "Freedom Party", is left or right.

However, Meta has emphasized that his party is an ultra-democratic party, while he "bemoaned the plight" of the SP, which he said is no longer left-wing, but is a party usurped by a "gang".

He also shot Lulzim Basha, whom he said was "usurped by this gang".

"SP is the left?

The party in power that does not give anything to Albanian families is leftist or not?

Kjo bandë ka uzurpuar PS-në, ka uzurpuar shtetin, pasi kishte uzurpuar më parë edhe kreun e Opozitës.

Jemi një parti ultrademokratike, nuk jemi nacionaliste.

Referendumi është garanti i rikthimit të Shqipërisë në themelet e Kushtetutës më të mirë që ka parë kjo tokë, që ishte ajo e vitit '98, ishte më perfekte, u bë me referendum nga populli i shqipërisë pas krizës së ‘97-ës.”-u shpreh Ilir Meta.

I pyetur nëse do të marrë pjesë në zgjedhjet e ardhshme vendore, Meta tha se nuk do të bojkotojnë asnjë lloj procesi jo vetëm zgjedhor.

"The Freedom Party, as long as I am its leader, will not boycott anything in this country, not even the plenary session, even more so to boycott the elections. In democracy, whoever runs away from the elections is a deserter, capitulator, bought, like the one who burned the mandates or has problems. I am not naive to expect Danish democracy in Albania. The Freedom Party is determined to participate in all elections and is convinced of a great triumph" , declared Meta./ CNA.al
